€87.00
Contrasts, Caves, and Volcanoes!
Discover the most spectacular landscapes of Lanzarote in a full-day tour through volcanoes, caves, and unique natural scenery. During this excursion, you will cross some of the island’s most iconic areas, from lava coasts and traditional villages to incredible human-made works perfectly integrated with nature.
The tour begins along the scenic coastal road in the south of the island, where you can admire the impressive rocky coastline until reaching the picturesque village of El Golfo. Here we will stop to observe the famous Green Lake, an emerald-colored lagoon located inside an ancient volcanic crater.
We will then continue to the renowned Timanfaya National Park, one of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in Europe. Here you can take a fun camel ride (optional) and watch spectacular geothermal demonstrations at Islote de Hilario, where the underground heat is still incredibly active. Afterwards, we will cross the scenic Route of the Volcanoes by bus, a panoramic path among craters, lava fields, and mountains of fire.
During the day, we will stop for lunch in the characteristic village of Mancha Blanca, which is also home to the famous church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, one of the island’s most important places of worship.
Continuing north, you can admire the beautiful Valley of a Thousand Palms and the traditional village of Haría. The final stop will be at the spectacular Jameos del Agua, one of the most famous masterpieces by artist and architect César Manrique, where art and nature merge within a unique volcanic tunnel.
