From Sea to Summit: A Day of History, Flavors, and Suspended Silences!
The day begins between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, with pick-up directly from your accommodation. After a short drive along the coast, the first stop takes you to one of the island’s wildest and least-visited bays—a genuine corner where the sea meets the rocks and nature reveals itself without filters.
Next, you head inland to Agüimes, a perfectly preserved historic village. Strolling through its cobbled streets is a dive into the most traditional side of Gran Canaria, far removed from the hustle of the beaches.
The journey continues with a stop at La Fortaleza, an important archaeological site where a small museum and ancient cave dwellings tell the story of the island’s first inhabitants. The surrounding landscape has an ancestral and captivating charm.
Then, you reach Santa Lucía de Tirajana, a peaceful oasis surrounded by palms and hills. Here, you stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant with a panoramic terrace, enjoying local dishes in the calm of the surroundings.
In the afternoon, the island transforms again: you climb to Roque Nublo, Gran Canaria’s iconic geological symbol, and then to Pico de las Nieves, the highest point on the island. On clear days, the view stretches all the way to the silhouette of Teide on Tenerife.
After a short stop at the Caldera de los Marteles viewpoint, where vegetation alternates with volcanic landscapes, you begin the return journey along a scenic road that offers a few more memorable vistas, with a final stop at a quiet viewpoint—perfect for closing the day with your eyes on the horizon.
The tour concludes around 7:00 PM with return to your accommodation. A full day of discoveries, landscapes, and stories—intense but unhurried, leaving you with memories worth taking home!
